Mario has released the first single, ‘Drowning’, from his upcoming album, ‘Dancing Shadows’.
Mario recently said about the current landscape of R&B, “The bar has definitely lowered… not just the voice itself, but as far as the music production, as far as the content. As a whole, the landscape of R&B has changed and I want to be one of the artists to help it come back to culturally relevant music”.
The new album is due later this year, and will be Mario’s first since 2009.
