25th Anniversary of Toni Braxton’s ‘Breathe Again’

On this day in 1993, Toni Braxton released ‘Breathe Again’, written solely by Babyface.


Although Toni’s previous single, ‘Another Sad Love Song’, enjoyed moderate worldwide success, ‘Breathe Again’ became her breakout hit around the world.

It peaked at #2 in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and #3 in the US.

‘Breathe Again’ earned Toni a Grammy Award for ‘Best Female R&B Vocal Performance’, and Soul Train Music Award for ‘Best R&B/Soul Single, Female’.
