Janet fans were also pleasantly surprised to find recently that many of Janet’s classic music videos have been remastered thanks to a collaboration between YouTube and Universal Music upgrading a back catalogue of iconic music videos to high definition. Simultaneously, a number of Janet videos on her channel which were previously blocked in a number of countries have now become available to a wider audience.

The excitement doesn’t end with digital releases, as six of Janet’s classic albums are also being re-issued on vinyl. ‘Control’, both on red translucent vinyl and black vinyl, as well as ‘janet.’ are already available, while 2-LP releases of ‘Control: The Remixes’, ‘Rhythm Nation 1814’, ‘The Velvet Rope’, and ‘All For You’ will be available from July 26th. ‘Control: The Remixes’ is being reissued on CD as well, available July 26th, and was recently also made available digitally for the first time ever.
