Norwegian DJ, songwriter and producer Kygo has released a brand new single, featuring vocals from the incomparable Whitney Houston.
Whitney covered Steve Winwood’s Grammy Award winning 1986 hit ‘Higher Love’, and it was only ever released exclusively in Japan as a bonus track on her 1990 album ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’.
Kygo told Spotify, “The Whitney Houston estate reached out to me with a remixed vocal recording of Whitney’s 1989 version of the record. I raced into the studio, thrilled to be given the opportunity to make music with one of the greatest female vocalists of all time”.
Kygo teased the collaboration on his social media earlier this week with a blurred out photo, and the caption “New single on Friday. Who do you think it’s with?”
