Brandy has released a new track ‘Baby Mama’, featuring Chance the Rapper, available now.
The song dedicated to mothers comes just in time for Mother’s Day on May 10th. On her YouTube channel, Brandy wrote:
“The inspiration for Baby Mama was of course my daughter and how she makes me a better person. I wanted to do a song about her and speak to all baby mamas out there that may feel like they can’t make it or they can’t push through, you know, if you use your child as an inspiration you can do anything and I want everybody to feel that.”
Brandy has shared a behind the scenes glimpse of the music video, which will be out on May 4th:
The song is expected to feature on Brandy’s upcoming album, her first full-length release since 2012’s ‘Two Eleven’.
