On this day in 2000, Mariah Carey’s ‘Crybaby’ from the multi-Platinum album ‘Rainbow’ had a limited promotional release in the US and Canada.

The song features Snoop Dogg, who Mariah has since also worked with on ‘Say Somethin’ from ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ in 2005.

Despite its limited release, it still managed to peak at #4 in Canada and #28 in the US.

In celebration of 30 incredible years in the industry, Mariah is surprising her fans each Friday with various rarities, kicking it off this week with a digital EP, ‘The Live Debut – 1990’. She has also recently announced that her memoir ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’ will be available on September 29th.
