18th Anniversary of Kelly Rowland’s ‘Stole’

On this day in 2002, Kelly Rowland released ‘Stole’ from her debut solo album, ‘Simply Deep’.

The song, which talks about bullying, suicide and more social issues, was a hit worldwide, and remains one of Kelly’s most commercially successful singles.

In Australia, ‘Stole’ peaked at #2, staying in the Top 20 for fourteen weeks with heavy rotation on MTV and radio, and was certified Platinum in 2003.

‘Stole’ also peaked in the Top 3 in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, and New Zealand.
