On this day in 2006, JoJo’s hit single, ‘Too Little Too Late’ from her second album, ‘The High Road’, was released for download.

At the time, the song broke Mariah Carey’s record for the biggest jump to a Top 3 spot, when it went from #66 to #3. This has since been broken and the record is currently held by Kelly Clarkson’s ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’, which jumped from #97 to #1 in 2009.
‘Too Little Too Late’ won two Radio Disney Music Awards, and a Boston Music Award.

A re-recorded version of ‘Too Little Too Late’ was released in 2018 due to JoJo’s original recordings on Blackground Records not being available on digital services, however next month on September 24th, her first two albums will now become widely available to stream, as well as buy digitally, on CD and on vinyl.
