It has been certified Platinum in over ten countries, and charted within the Top 5 around the world. Incredibly, the album spent 61 consecutive weeks within the Top 20 in the US.

The no-skips album produced five worldwide hit singles: the title track ‘Breakaway‘, ‘Since U Been Gone’, ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’, ‘Because Of You‘, and ‘Walk Away’.

The album’s massive success was supported by multiple concert tours, covering Australia, Europe and North America.
