On this day in 2002, Kelly Rowland released ‘Stole’ from her debut solo album, ‘Simply Deep’ in Australia.

The song, which talks about bullying, suicide and more social issues, was a hit worldwide and remains one of Kelly’s most commercially successful singles.
In Australia, ‘Stole’ peaked at #2, staying in the Top 20 for fourteen weeks with heavy rotation on MTV and radio, and was certified Platinum in 2003.

‘Stole’ also peaked in the Top 3 in the UK, Ireland, Scotland, and New Zealand.
