Today marks the 28th anniversary of All-4-One’s worldwide hit, ‘I Swear’. The David Foster production remains a timeless classic that has transcended generations.
‘I Swear’ spent an incredible eleven consecutive weeks at #1 in the US, and also topped the charts in many other countries including Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The song was originally released by country artist John Michael Montgomery less than six months prior to All-4-One’s version, and spent four weeks at #1 on the Hot Country Songs Chart in the US. In 2015, All-4-One and John Michael Montgomery came together and recorded a duet version of the track for the All-4-One album ‘Twenty+’.
