21 years have passed since the US release of Aaliyah’s self-titled album, also known as ‘The Red Album’. This was sadly her final studio album.

The album produced three timeless singles: ‘We Need A Resolution’, ‘More Than A Woman’, and ‘Rock The Boat’.

It peaked at #1 in the US, and has reportedly sold over 13 million copies worldwide.
The ‘Aaliyah’ album was awarded ‘Favourite Soul/R&B Album’ at the American Music Awards in 2002, winning against Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys.
It is still cited by critics as one of the best R&B albums of its time.

After years of not being available to fans in any official format, the album was released digitally for the first time ever in September 2021, as well as the music videos from that era. It’s now also available on CD, cassette, and vinyls in various colours.
Following the album’s release in 2021, the album re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at #13.

Chart Positions:
- Australia: #41
- Canada: #6
- New Zealand: #25
- UK: #5
- US: #1
