Today marks 22 years since Craig David released ‘7 Days’ in the UK. The song went on to become his biggest worldwide hit.

‘7 Days’ debuted at #1 in the UK, becoming his second consecutive #1 single after ‘Fill Me In’. At the age of 19, he became the youngest male artist to have two #1 singles in the UK since Donny Osmond in 1973.

In Australia, the hit spent ten weeks in the Top 10, peaking at #4, and was certified Platinum.
It also became Craig’s most successful song in the US, peaking at #10. It is one of only three of his songs to chart in America.

The song was awarded ‘Best Contemporary Song’ at the Ivor Novello Awards.
