It has been seven years since Delta Goodrem released her last #1 single, ‘Wings’ from her ‘Wings of The Wild’ album.
‘Wings’ became Delta’s ninth #1 single in Australia, and stayed on top for two weeks. This put Delta in third place (tied with P!nk) of female artists with the most #1 singles in Australia.
‘Wings’ was released in CD format and Delta had numerous in-store appearances around Australia to meet fans and sign their copy.
The single has since been certified 2x Platinum.
