On this day in 2008, P!nk released ‘So What’ as the lead single from her ‘Funhouse’ album.
It was a worldwide smash, topping the charts in over ten countries. It became her fourth #1 single in Australia, where it spent four weeks on top, and her second #1 in the US after ‘Lady Marmalade’.
Lyrically, the song was inspired by her temporary separation from Carey Hart, who actually appears in the music video which was directed by Dave Meyers.
