It became her fifth consecutive #1 single in the US, staying on top of the Hot 100 chart for two weeks. It also topped the Adult Contemporary chart for three weeks. Other notable chart positions include peaking at #2 in Canada and #4 in Ireland.
A live concert performance in New York was used as the music video.
A 2-track ‘Didn’t We Almost Have It All’ EP is available on digital and streaming services, and includes the B-side ‘Shock Me (with Jermaine Jackson)’.
