34th Anniversary of Whitney Houston’s ‘One Moment In Time’
34 years ago today, Whitney Houston released ‘One Moment In Time’ for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.
The song became a Top 10 hit in over fifteen countries.
It was Whitney’s third #1 hit in the UK, her second #1 in Germany, and her seventh #1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart in the US. It peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Hot 100, becoming her tenth Top 10 hit on that chart.
The song re-entered a number of charts following Whitney’s passing in 2012.

Is my sobriety song and coming home to my children after being away year from August 2nd 1987 to August 2nd 1988 three children that I almost lost because of drugs and just so unbelievable is that was your way out in a way.
