Today marks the milestone 25th anniversary of Usher’s breakthrough album, ‘My Way’.

All three of the album’s single releases became massive hits. The 3x Platinum-certified lead single ‘You Make Me Wanna…’ peaked at #2 in the US and spent eleven weeks at #1 on the R&B chart. It also topped the UK charts, and was a Top 20 hit around the world.

‘Nice & Slow’ became Usher’s first #1 single on Billboard’s Hot 100 and his second #1 on the R&B chart. It was also a Top 10 hit in New Zealand.

The title track ‘My Way’ peaked at #2 in the US, stalled behind Brandy and Monica’s unstoppable hit ‘The Boy Is Mine’. It was also a Top 5 hit on the R&B chart, and was certified Platinum.

The album itself, which featured guest appearances from Monica, Lil’ Kim and Jermaine Dupri, topped the R&B chart for three consecutive weeks.
It spent 79 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at #4, and it has been recently re-certified an incredible 7x Platinum.

Usher is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album with a special Deluxe Edition, being released both digitally and as a ‘Silver Cloudy’ 2xLP package with a lyric and photo booklet available at Vinyl Me Please. The expanded edition features three exclusive reimagined bonus tracks of ‘You Make Me Wanna’, ‘Nice & Slow’ and ‘My Way’, as well as the instrumentals of those same songs. Usher has re-created the album’s original artwork in a new photoshoot for the cover of the deluxe edition. There is also a new mini-documentary about the album’s legacy titled ‘Usher: 25 Years My Way’ now available on Usher’s YouTube channel.
